Customer interviews have done more for my career than any other skill, technique, or toolset. Early on, when I was first transitioning from marketing to product management, I was encouraged by a mentor to try customer phone interviews. Since I was in ecommerce, this was a first for me. Up to that point, I had never actually spoken to one of our customers.

While my initial goals were a bit ambiguous, the customers I spoke with quickly gave me a very specific goal— fixing our broken wish list feature. Letting the customers guide the build, we did a redesign and architectural refactor that ended up tripling the user base and more than doubling the revenue. That gave me the credibility to transition into product management and I've since done hundreds of customer interviews.

But here's the thing— customer interviews are no walk in the park. From recruiting customers to scheduling the interviews to reviewing the findings and extracting insights, there are hours and hours of work that go into the process.

With the recent advances in AI, we're at a point where LLM capabilities can be combined to automate the entire process.

That's where HeyNow comes in.

We built HeyNow to simplify the process, lower the cost, and make it accessible to smaller teams and individuals.

We're not the first to offer AI-led interviews, but we're different from the others, as our first interview medium is the good ole telephone. We believe that using the phone (as opposed to video conferencing) makes it easier for your customers to jump on a call. It also opens your research to people who aren't comfortable with tech, helping you get the participation rate you need to get actionable insights.

Another big differentiator is our pricing. Many of our competitors are targeting enterprise customers with big research teams and even bigger budgets. That ain't us. We know that for smaller teams, customer research is experimental, and we enable that via transparent pay-as-you-go pricing, starting at $20 per interview.

So have a go and learn the magic of customer interviews. Start with 5 interviews and see what you learn. If you need help coming up with interview questions, we're happy to help. You can get in touch anytime.
